Monday Lunch Livestream: What Matters Most

Health systems centred around 'What Matters Most' to the patient will enable clinicians to provide individualised and patient-centred care.

Join Associate Professor Christopher Steer discuss practical ways to improve the care of older adults with cancer.

Whilst many cancer clinicians care for older adults on a daily basis, there are many opportunities for us all to improve if we remember that adequate assessment yields appropriate care.

Strong evidence shows that geriatric assessment improves the care of older adults with cancer so now the oncology community must now adapt to translate this evidence into practice. The development of age-friendly health systems centred around 'What Matters Most' to the patient will enable clinicians to provide individualised, patient-centred care.

The tools to deliver this care already exist. Join Associate Professor Christopher Steer who will discuss practical examples of how providers are applying them to routine care.
