Colorectal cancer is one of the most common and lethal cancers worldwide. Across the VCCC Alliance there is a broad spectrum of innovative research underway, from preclinical studies through to the management of advanced stage disease. This session, for the first time, will give each site the opportunity to showcase their efforts, highlighting cutting edge research in cancer biology, molecular characterisation, the latest in prognostic and predictive markers, through to supportive care.
The Colorectal Cancer Research Showcase, will be convened by Professor Peter Gibbs, VCCC Alliance Research & Education Lead - Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancer. GI cancer focused researchers and clinician scientists with an interest in colorectal cancer are invited to attend this event, joining peers from across the VCCC Alliance, for a showcase of current colorectal cancer research activity. The event goal is to educate, to stimulate and to initiate and promote collaborative efforts across the VCCC Alliance member sites and beyond.
