The VCCC Research & Education Lead, Breast Cancer program is hosting its first major conference and public forum 20 & 21 February 2020. Please join us to discover what is new, challenging and controversial in the neoadjuvant management of patients with breast cancer.
The dynamic, multidisciplinary program will set the scene for patients undertaking neoadjuvant therapy and will address dilemmas in surgical considerations, tumour heterogeneity, therapy sequencing, radiotherapy, reconstruction and supportive care.
Internationally renowned expert, Dr Eric Winer director of the Breast Oncology Centre at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, will explore future opportunities for neoadjuvant therapy – and will feature at both the conference and public forum.

The full-day scientific program will be preceded by an evening public forum at the VCCC: Improving breast cancer outcomes; past, present and future.
We are delighted to join with the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) to present this special public lecture, exploring the history, present and future of breast cancer treatment. Hosted by Kirsten Pilatti, BCNA CEO, the forum will examine how far we have come with breast cancer research and treatment over the last 30 years and what we need to do to overcome this complex disease in the future. It will feature international guest speaker Dr Eric Winer, MD, Director, Division of Breast Oncology Center, Susan F. Smith Center for Women's Cancers, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Massachusetts, USA.
