Enabling clinical trial efficiencies

  • VCCC Alliance
SiteDocs in 17 clinical trial sites

The VCCC is generating new clinical trial capacity by improving efficiency, quality and consistency of clinical trial management.

The VCCC Building Capacity through Efficiency Program has successfully delivered several outcomes, including clinical trial site network development across metro and regional locations as well as supporting a new Research Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist role.

Implementation of the SiteDocs Portal, an electronic document management platform, has also increased efficiencies through reduced administrative and regulatory workload, simplifying processes and enhancing trial capacity.

Support and training for clinical trial teams

SiteDocs has now been implemented into 17 clinical trial sites across Victoria. Clinical trial teams are supported and trained by two project officers from Cancer Trials Australia, Gabriella Martello and Abe Haddad.

Gabriella and Abe have produced a short, helpful video to provide best practice advice for managing investigator site files online.

Watch the video to:

  • Organise projects in an easy-to-navigate layout
  • Manage folders and documents, and find useful templates
  • Implement good naming conventions for searchability

SiteDocs enables clinical trial teams to develop an electronic single source of truth, creating investigator site files that are accessible and shareable.
