Congratulations to newly skilled nurses

Congratulations to the VCCC Nurse-led Research Partnership Post participants who completed a 12-week training course last week aimed at providing nurses essential research knowledge and skills.  

Nurses gained the opportunity to refine research skills in a wide range of areas including reviewing literature, designing quantitative and qualitative research, evidence-based co-design, mixed methods, statistical literacy, evaluation, research integrity, data management, knowledge translation, working with consumers, ethical review of human research, writing for publication and reporting, and engaging vulnerable populations.

The VCCC Nurse-led Research Hub is a multi-faceted initiative to support nurses to turn clinical ideas into research, network, and grow their research knowledge and skills. The next stage of the development program will focus on capacity building for nurse-led research with a number of research projects being activated.
