The Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC Alliance) provides groundbreaking work developing and implementing innovative, system-changing programs aimed to improve outcomes for patients with cancer. Situated in Parkville, we are an alliance organisation working across ten different medical research organisations.
This role is a central contact and liaison point for administrative and office queries from our VCCC Alliance team members and sits within the Corporate Services team, reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, with a dotted reporting line to both the Finance Manager and Head of People and Culture.
This role also plays a key part in supporting and optimizing VCCC Alliance staff to transition effectively to a hybrid model of working; both when in the office in effectively utilising shared spaces and video conferencing tools with the assistance of IT support, as well as when working remotely from home. We are seeking applicants who are both available and accessible onsite on a regular basis to facilitate this process through triaging problems for support, educating staff through quick guides, training and communicating as well as time permitting, supporting internal events and meetings.
You’re highly organised, proactive and enjoy planning, with a high degree of attention to detail while multi-tasking and working across a diverse range of responsibilities in a fluid environment.
You’re highly responsive, resourceful and enjoy assisting others, you like working with processes and implementing qualitative improvements when required, trouble shooting and thinking on your feet while calm and resourceful, working collaboratively with stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of high quality office management and account/payroll administration for less than 50 VCCC team members.
You’re a skilled communicator who builds strong and effective relationships across a diverse mix of both internal and external stakeholders, you enjoy being an integral member of a fun, friendly team and getting involved in coordinating internal events, social activities and planning days.

Diploma in Business Administration or similar qualification and/or significant experience working in a senior professional administration role that included operations and/or general office management.
