Have your say on the brand of a new national project that will shape the future of cancer research in Australia.
We’re seeking cancer consumers* across Australia to be part of a one-hour workshop to help refine our brand. You’ll be part of a small group of 4-6 consumers providing feedback at a pivotal point in our work.
We want to make sure the way we present our project speaks to you.
All workshops will be held online, via Zoom. Any feedback will be deidentified and your privacy is assured.
*A cancer consumer is defined as a past, present, or potential user of a cancer service. This includes patients, people caring for someone with cancer, and family members or friends.
Workshops are open to people currently undergoing cancer treatment, people who have completed cancer treatment, and friends and family of people who have these direct experiences of cancer.
September: CALD workshops
We’re keen to understand how our brand connects with people born overseas who speak a language other than English at home.
October: Open workshops
If you or someone close to you has experienced cancer, we want to hear how our brand connects with you.
This is a new, national research project that moves beyond investigating a single cancer type, treatment strategy, or demographic, using a radically open model that can accelerate research across all cancers.
The project brings together insights from DNA samples, medical records, and experiences of diagnosis and treatment to build a truly representative picture of the Australian cancer patient across all cancer types. Even more significantly, these insights will be matched with an existing cancer dataset already established in the US, and made available to the global research community at no cost to them.
Including the patient voice is key to the success of this project. We want cancer consumers to be active partners at every stage, including the design of our brand.
Remuneration will be offered in accordance with the VCCC Alliance Accounting and Financial Management Policy and related procedures.
