The VCCC Alliance coordinates a regular program of lectures, workshops and internships to support the professional development of the cancer workforce and to share the latest news, evidence and ideas in cancer care and research.
This popular, free lecture series open to all attracts local and international experts from across the spectrum of cancer research and clinical care, and is held via webinar every Monday.
Workshops are held regularly at VCCC Alliance member locations throughout Melbourne. They are coordinated by the VCCC Alliance and presented by the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, The University of Melbourne.

The SKILLED internship program provides a pathway for students to build role-specific clinical trial knowledge, experience and skills in a clinical trials unit. Interns gain on-the-job training with VCCC Alliance members and collaborators in metro and regional locations.
The hub provides the opportunity for nursing practitioners with an interest in research to develop on-the-job research capability and mentoring via a paid research placement in a partner organisation.
