Victorian COVID-19 Cancer Network
Health professionals supporting health professionals
The Victorian COVID-19 Cancer Network (VCCN) is a collaboration driven by the VCCC Alliance and Monash Partners Comprehensive Cancer Consortium (MPCCC).
The VCCN was established in March 2020 in response to the challenges involved with managing cancer care amid the current global health crisis and aims to provide support and advice to clinicians and health care services treating patients with cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The VCCN shares knowledge and experience through collaborative partnerships, bringing together extensive knowledge from individual clinicians, government departments, institutions and patient advocacy groups across Victoria, Australia and internationally.
The VCCN offers:
- Strategic initiatives to guide and optimise care for patients with cancer
- Curated information and guidance for practitioners
- Specialised channels for various tumour streams and interest areas, for example cancer clinical trials, telehealth and haematology
- Forums for shared problem solving, support and conversations
- E-news updates
- Cancer and COVID-19 education events and webinars
Membership of the VCCN is open to health professionals working with cancer patients, to join please complete the registration form.
