The first of its kind in Australia, SKILLED is a clinical trial internship program designed specifically for science graduates to gain experience and skills in the clinical trials field.
It addresses a critical skills shortage of clinical trialists by providing a pathway for science graduates to enter the highly competitive clinical trials field.
The program significantly contributes to building a skilled workforce, with the aim of improving health outcomes through improved access to clinical trials for patients across Victoria, including in underserved regional populations, through workforce capability and capacity building.
The program is a competency-based, accelerated learning program offering hands-on training opportunities, equipping interns with industry-ready skills necessary to keep pace with the rapidly evolving sector.
The SKILLED Clinical Trial Internship Program targets science graduates who are interested in pursuing careers in clinical trials. It aims to increase their employability within the clinical trials sector by providing specialised training and hands-on experience.
