Nicole Tweddle

Board Director

Chief Executive, St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne

Nicole Tweddle was appointed Chief Executive of St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne in August 2022. She has been a member of the Executive team since April 2021, holding the role of Executive Director of Acute Services. Prior to this role, Nicole was the Chief Operating Officer at The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where she was also Interim Chief Executive for 10 months.

Nicole has held numerous other Executive Director roles across the hospitals of the Parkville Precinct, specifically Executive Director Strategy and Development roles at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, and The Women’s. Nicole also played a key role in leading the design and implementation of the cancer services operating model for shared services between The Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Peter Mac and the Women’s as part of the relocation of Peter Mac to Parkville.

Nicole began her career as a Physiotherapist at Ballarat Health Services. She has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (hons) from the University of Melbourne, and Master’s degree in Health Service Management from Monash University.
