Consumer-led research is research that is directed, planned and/or executed by consumers. Professionals are involved in guiding, supporting, assisting and ensuring the quality of the research process. In consumer-led research, the balance of decision-making and prioritisation lies with the consumer perspective.
The Cancer Consumer-Led Research Partnership will evaluate its leadership masterclass, Lead from Lived Experience, as part of the overall partnership project.
The aims of this research is to validate the impact of the education program, and therefore deepen our understanding of consumer leadership in healthcare.
By focusing on how consumers influence the health system and evaluating the effectiveness of Lead from Lived Experience, the partnership is committed to driving meaningful improvements.
