Janne Williams

Lived Experience Leader

Monash Partners Comprehensive Cancer Consortium representative

Janne has lived cancer experience as a patient, family member and close friend.

Not all those close to her have survived.

Janne has been working as a Consumer Advisor in Monash Health for over 12 years, with particular focus on both cancer and emergency care services.

In these she is involved with development of clinical services, clinical governance, quality standards and research. She is a member of the governance committees for two of the National Safety and Quality Health Standards, namely Partnering with Consumers and Blood Management.

Janne is a Consumer Advisor with several cancer control organisations including SMICS (Southern Melbourne Integrated Cancer Services), MPCCC (Monash Partners Comprehensive Cancer Consortium) and LaRDR (Lymphoma and Related Diseases Registry) and Blood Synergy (a Transfusion Research Unit of Monash University.)

Janne is a retired Allied Health Professional.

I have been actively involved in the work we are undertaking for the Statewide Consumer Led Research program since mid-2022 as a representative from MPCCC.
