Breast Cancer Grand Round: The Lancet breast cancer commission

Dr Wanda Cui shares the Lancet Breast Cancer Commission report which showed glaring inequities, with many groups with breast cancer being systematically left behind and forgotten.

The Lancet Breast Cancer Commission report

Breast cancer incidence is increasing and predicted to be over 3 million per year by 2040. It is in this context that the Lancet Breast cancer commission, a diverse multidisciplinary international commission, was convened in July 2021. The Lancet Breast Cancer Commission report showed glaring inequities, with many groups with breast cancer being systematically left behind and forgotten.

This webinar will discuss the inclusive, evidence-based roadmap laid out by the Lance Breast Cancer Commission to address urgent breast cancer challenges. They can and should be tackled.
