With the July workshop now fully booked, Cancer Council Victoria is will be delivering the same workshop in October.
This in-person workshop will provide the tools and language to build trusting relationships that contribute to better health outcomes for those living with cancer. Developed for medical trainees and clinical staff, this workshop is a part of the RACP's approved list of courses. In this workshop, you will:
• Explore emotional reactions to cancer through learning with a simulated patient
• Recognise emotions and apply frameworks to respond effectively
• Receive feedback on personal communication challenges in a safe environment
In a small group environment with two facilitators, you will practice communication with a simulated patient and build capacity to manage differing perceptions and expectations of patients, their families, and carers.
Limited spaces available (only 8 participants per session). Register now to secure your place.
