The VCCC Alliance invites expressions of interest from people undertaking cancer or supportive care research in rural and regional Victoria to share a 30-minute presentation at a two‑hour webinar on either Wednesday 12 August 2026, 9:00–11:00am, or Thursday 29 October 2026, 9:45–11:45am (AEST), via Zoom. Presenters will also be invited to join a brief follow‑up session with interested attendees at a later date.
We are seeking projects that have already completed the ethics approval process and that can help others to develop research ideas, or to make current research more sustainable and/or scalable.
During the presentation, we would love for you to share how and why your project was developed, what worked well, any challenges you faced along the way, provide an overview of your research and your vision for its sustainability.
The webinar, via project presentations and a short panel will demonstrate how research questions are developed and how projects are translated into practice in rural and regional Victoria. It aims to support emerging health services researchers to understand the research process and to help established researchers take the next steps in developing, scaling and sustaining their work.

The webinar is for clinicians, nurses, allied health professionals, researchers and other healthcare workers in regional or rural Victoria, who are interested in cancer and supportive care and want to develop research skills or scale projects beyond their health service.
