The SiteDocs Portal is a document management platform that enables collaborative, cost-effective compliance of regulatory requirements at clinical trial sites. The VCCC is supporting the implementation of SiteDocs Portal into 15 clinical trial sites across our members and collaborators to promote efficiencies.

Gabriella Martello and Jude Jayasuriya, project officers at Cancer Trials Australia, have been travelling throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria, implementing SiteDocs as well as providing support and training.

On the day they visited Geelong, Lea-Anne Harrison, Clinical Trials Manager, Barwon Health said, ”The team here are incredibly positive about the portal and one team member has already started adding her first study in the portal today!”

Want to see the numbers?

  • 30 clinical trial staff members have received training by the project officers
  • 8 sites have begun SiteDocs Portal implementation, 2 have transitioned all trials
  • 369 trials listed on the portal, including 54 new trials
  • 25,000+ documents have been uploaded to the portal

SiteDocs Portal is scheduled to be up and running by June 2020 in all 15 sites. A sustainability plan is being drafted to ensure sites receive ongoing support.

Where to from here?

The aim of the SiteDocs Portal implementation is to create efficiencies for Victoria’s cancer clinical trial sites. The portal will streamline processes and reduce barriers, evaluation measures are in place to ensure the implementation benefits sites and staff.
