Scholarships: Travel expenses to the Registry-based Clinical Trial Session (April 2024)

If you're attending the Registry-based Clinical Trial session on Friday, 5 April 2024 and coming from rural or regional areas, apply for this scholarship to offset your travel, meals and accommodation expenses.

Rural and regional attendees to our in-person Registry-based Clinical Trial session are invited to apply for a travel scholarship, which will reimburse your meals, one night of accommodation, and travel expenses. Reimbursement is contingent on your purchase of a ticket via Eventbrite and submission of the application form with dated receipts, with capped amounts as specified below. 

Accommodation

One night accommodation in metro Melbourne on Thursday, 4 April 2024 or Friday, 5 April 2024 (the night before or the night following the event), for an amount of up to $200.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be reimbursed at ATO guideline rates for meals not already included in the Friday event.

If you're staying overnight in Melbourne on Thursday 4 April, this may include:

  • Thursday 4 April dinner and drinks, up to $57.30
  • Friday 5 April breakfast, up to $29.90
  • Friday 5 April dinner, up to $57.30

If you're staying overnight in Melbourne on Friday 5 April, this may include:

  • Friday 5 April breakfast, up to $29.90
  • Friday 5 April dinner and drinks, up to $57.30
  • Saturday 6 April breakfast, up to $29.90

Travel

You may choose to submit dated receipts of:

  • A return trip cost of train travel from your closest railway station
  • Cost of parking, up to $30

Total reimbursement is capped at $250 per scholarship.
