The Health Equity Data Program Coordinator is a new position, created to develop and drive research and implementation projects focussed on improving the collection health data of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Culturally and Linguistically diverse communities.
In this role, you will work closely with VCCC alliance members and partners to map existing data infrastructure and identify potential interventions that will improve data collection. Success will largely rely on an organised and methodical approach and proactive engagement and collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.

To be eligible for this role you must have a valid Right to Work in Australia and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (three vaccinations) due to the cancer hospital setting in which we work. Satisfactory completion of a National Police Check will also be required.

This position is offered as a secondment opportunity, open to individuals currently employed at a VCCC Alliance member organisation. The position will be offered under either a funding or secondment agreement.
Term: 12 months, ideally commencing in February 2023. Fractional appointment of 0.4FTE (15.2 hours per week)
