Full time, maximum term contract to Mid-2024, working from home and Parkville Office
This new role is an exciting opportunity for an educational content designer with experience in blended design and development and a passion for learning-centred educational principles. We are seeking a highly organised and skilled operator who naturally works collaboratively to achieve results. As the Learning Designer you will be responsible for two key educational programs:
1. the development and implementation of the Leading for Impact program, one of the 10 programs of work that make up the VCCC Alliance Strategic Program Plan, 2020-2024 (SPP); and
2. the review of the Master of Cancer Sciences program, an online course of study developed with our partner, the University of Melbourne’s, Melbourne School of Professional and Continuing Education (MSPACE) team.

Stakeholders from the VCCC Alliance and beyond will include academics and facilitators, oncology clinicians, researchers, allied health professionals and consumers.
This role is responsible, along with Education team colleagues and stakeholders, to scope, prioritise and manage the development and delivery of the multiple educational activities associated with the Masters and Leading for Impact programs, along with supporting and contributing to the many educational products the team develops and delivers, including:
You will bring your highly organised, proactive and energetic approach to everything you do. As an experienced and professional learning designer you will be used to managing multiple priorities. You will enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders and you will be a calm and considerate communicator, comfortable as a central point of contact to keep things on track. You will be in your happy place working at a fast pace in a fluid environment, enjoying the challenge of being creative and resourceful while working collaboratively with stakeholders to manage the delivery of high-quality and cutting-edge educational programs.
· Experience in learner-centred design and e-learning educational content development
· Experience in evaluating a variety of both face to face and e-learning educational events
· Background working with a range of stakeholders, from clinicians and researchers to academics and students, with well-practiced relationship management skill
· Proven organisational ability with experience in prioritising effectively across multiple projects and organising others to an agreed schedule
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint). A level of skill using an LMS, and/or online tools such as Canvas, visme, canva or the like is desirable
