Consumer representative
Following a long career in corporate IT as a CEO and Board member, and after significant head and neck and then prostate cancer treatments, Keith was invited to turn his strategic focus into pro-bono health consumer advisory roles.
He has become passionate in encouraging the health consumer voice in decision making in four key advisory spheres to improve the health consumer experience and outcomes.
Specifically:
- extensive involvement in Health Service management and governance committees at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and within the Parkville precinct,
- multiple cancer research program Associate Investigator outputs and governance roles, primarily collaborating thru the VCCC Alliance and Peter Mac,
- medical undergraduate and consumer education activities primarily with University of Melbourne, and
- membership of a medical research Foundation’s advisory board.
