Melanoma and Skin Cancer

Dermatologist, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre

Dr Friyana Bhabha is a Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australian College of Dermatologists with clinical appointments at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Caulfield Dermatology. She attends the Cutaneous Lymphoma Clinic at Peter Mac weekly and provides outreach dermatology services to regional areas including Mildura and Sale, supported by telehealth clinics to improve access to care.

Her research focuses on cutaneous lymphomas, including Mycosis Fungoides, Sezary Syndrome, and CD30+ lymphoproliferative disorders, with publications as first author on clinical practice statements. Dr Bhabha maintains an active role in the Australian College of Dermatologists, contributing to candidate selection, rural rostering, and fellowship examination marking.

Committed to collaborative, multidisciplinary care, she integrates clinical research into practice and supports initiatives to translate evidence into improved patient outcomes. Dr Bhabha is dedicated to advancing melanoma and skin cancer research, education, and cross-institutional collaboration within the VCCC Alliance.
