Dr Lucy Fox is a Haematologist and Clinician-Scientist with dual physician and pathology qualifications, holding clinical appointments at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. She runs the Genomic Haematology Clinic, caring for patients and families with bone marrow failure syndromes and germline predisposition to haematological malignancies, and works in the Molecular Haematology Department at Peter Mac investigating acquired and inherited genetic changes in these conditions.
Dr Fox completed her Doctorate of Medical Science at the University of Melbourne, with a thesis entitled “Integrating genomics into diagnostic and management strategies for patients with Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes.” She leads national and cross-institutional initiatives, including the Aplastic Anaemia and Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes Registry and the Australian Marrow Failure Biobank, embedding translational research into clinical care.
