Implementing Neoadjuvant Immunotherapy in Lung Cancer Workshop

In this workshop with A/Prof Gavin Wright, we discuss implementing a new way of treating resectable stage 2 and 3 lung cancers, and developing a standardised approach to treatment across Victoria.

Optimising Treatment for Resectable Stage II-IIIB NSCLC

This workshop aims to equip clinicians with the knowledge and skills necessary to optimise the implementation of Neoadjuvant Immunotherapy. Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Discuss and analyse the benefits and challenges associated with Neoadjuvant Immunotherapy, gaining a comprehensive understanding of its impact on patient outcomes.
  • Explore optimal and achievable practices for the successful implementation of Neoadjuvant Immunotherapy, considering both clinical effectiveness and practical feasibility.
  • Listen to firsthand practical experiences shared by professionals in a clinical setting, providing valuable insights into the real-world application of Neoadjuvant Immunotherapy.
  • Engage with a panel of experts and receive tailored guidance on potential strategies for overcoming implementation barriers.
  • Be guided on how to navigate the implementation of Neoadjuvant Immunotherapy within their own clinical setting, including discussions on the necessary steps, resources, and considerations for successful execution.

At the end of the workshop, participants will confidently be able to:

  • To identify the specific steps and resources required for the effective implementation of Neoadjuvant Immunotherapy in their clinical setting.
  • To recognise the clinical impact of the Neoadjuvant Immunotherapy.
