Wiyi Yani U Thangani Ways of Working Workshop

This workshop introduces the Wiyi Yani U Thangani Ways of Working and shares findings from the Institute's Caring About Care research into First Nations women's care work. Join us to explore how these principles can support more culturally safe and relational practice in their own settings.

How the Wiyi Yani U Thangani Institute's Ways of Working can strengthen culturally safe care practice

Join the Wiyi Yani U Thangani Ways of Working Workshop, a practical resource for individuals and organisations seeking to embed culturally safe, strengths-based and relational approaches into their work. This interactive online session builds on the themes introduced in the September Monday Lunch Live session.

Through facilitated discussion and small breakout groups, participants will engage with the Ways of Working framework and the Caring About Care research, and consider together how the principles might apply within a cancer care context. No prior attendance at the MLL is required, though it may add helpful context.
