They are role models who drive innovative change and champion meaningful engagement — shaping practices and amplifying the voices of people with lived experience of cancer across research, education, and clinical care. This category is open to people with lived experiences only.
This award recognises an individual with positive influence, commits to their own personal development, has strong ‘people-building’ skills and sees possibilities through the introduction of innovative practices and getting things achieved.
This award recognises an individual who exemplifies significant leadership skills such as the ability to lead and guide staff, develop staff talents, and successfully manage an efficient and effective unit, team or organisation at the highest level. They promote teamwork and collaboration and have worked to improve their unit, team or organisation.
