Harnessing Collective Impact to accelerate outcomes

The VCCC Alliance is Australia’s first comprehensive cancer centre, providing a multi-site, multidisciplinary, integrated approach to cancer research, education and clinical care to improve outcomes for people affected by cancer.

As a Collective Impact organisation, the fundamental premise is that collaborating organisations with a shared agenda will deliver far greater benefits more quickly, than an individual organisation could achieve alone. Effective inclusion of consumer perspectives is a critical factor in this approach to tackling complex, system level change.

Following an extensive consultation process in 2019, the VCCC Alliance adopted a new strategic direction aimed at expanding the impact of the alliance and ensuring that the benefits reach more people affected by cancer in Victoria and beyond.
